Participatory Education by Local Preacherso on Knowledge, Mother's Attitude and Nutritional Information of Children

Mothers as the main caregivers of children in providing feeding practices must be based on knowledge, attitudes, and good practices. The purpose this study was to see effect stunting prevention through participatory counseling regarding application balanced nutrition toddlers by involving local preachers mother's nutritional intake locus village, Gedong Tataan district. This researchwasquasi-experimental with a pre post-test control group design. research subjects were 21 stunted under five treatment controls.The treatmentgroup given intervention posyandu cadresand preachers, while about cadres. Counseling carried out for 3 weeks row onthe groups. Wilcoxon Rank Test Mann Whitney used seedifferences each nutrient intake. showed that there significant differences knowledge (p=0,000), attitudes energy (p=0,008), protein (p=0,000). Stunting interventions have proven effective increasing mothers' well five.
